3.10 Left Behind

I have covered a lot of territory, so let’s have a little review here. In chapter 2, I described the decline of the average child artist, the child who goes from “good” to striving for no more than “good enough.” In this chapter, I have attempted to describe to you my vision of our culture: in the grip of an epidemic of lost child artists. This is our culture living life after art, without beauty or creativity.

First, we took a look at a few examples of all of the beautiful, unnecessary creation that humans have engaged in throughout our existence. It is these creative endeavors that link us to God, our Creator, and show us what we are really capable of accomplishing.
